Copyright Info:
All our images are property of E3 Photography Studio and protected by Federal Copyright Law. It is in violation of Federal Copyright Law to copy these images in any manner, including but not limited to digital scanning, photocopying or other mechanical or electronic means. Copied images result in greatly reduced photo quality, which reflects poorly on the reputation of our work.
Copyright is defined as: the eclusive and legal right given to a creative author, musician, or artist to produce, publish, edit, etc...their artistic works whether it be literary, musical, photographic, or other.
United States Federal Copyright law gives photographers, authors, artists and the like, the exlcusive right to use and reproduce their own original works. The US Government has also signed several international copyright agreements that have made this law basically effective worldwide.
The copyright law gives authors/artists the exclusive right to use, edit, and copy their own works. However, authors/artists can give permission to others to use their works at anytime with a signed release/license. Use of a copyrighted piece without permission is in violation of Federal Copyright law and can result in substantial fines and imprisonment.
Also, since October 1988, photographic works do not need a copyright label to have protection under the Federal Copyright law. Therefore, any image found on the web, print, or otherwise may be copyrighted without having a traditional label of "© 2009 - XYZ, Co." on it.
This information is meant to inform, educate and protect all parties involved in the photographic process. Thank you for reading.
